Bajaj Electrical Foundation has partnered with Pullela Gopichand Badminton Foundation to launch a sports development initiative aimed at nurturing talented young athletes from underprivileged backgrounds. We believe in fostering talent from the grassroots, acknowledging its crucial role in advancing both sports and society. The prestigious ‘YONEX-SUNRISE - Anant Bajaj Memorial’ All India Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament is hosted annually by the Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy which is known to have trained several legendary badminton players. This initiative is in memory of the late Mr. Anant Bajaj (former Managing Director of Bajaj Electricals Limited) who was a sports enthusiast; and aimed at promoting upcoming talent across the nation.
