HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENING
SWASTH GHAR IMPROVED COOKSTOVE PROJECT
Through this initiative, our aim is to promote the use of more efficient and cleaner cooking technologies. The improved cookstoves curb firewood consumption, leading to a significant reduction in indoor air pollution and CO2 emissions. By distributing 4,000 improved cookstoves, our goal is to significantly reduce CO2 emissions across 50 villages in Rajasthan. Together, let’s envision a world where every action contributes to a better planet and a better life for present and future generations.

Innovation Hub
Founded with the vision of fostering ‘first to India’ tech- entrepreneurs, Bajaj Electricals and IIMA Ventures (the start- up incubation centre of IIM Ahmadabad) launched an incubation centre – the ‘Anant Bajaj Limitless Ideas Hub’. Located in the heart of Jaipur city, the incubation centre is spread across 15,500 sq.ft boasting of world-class facilities and new-age infrastructure. Through this hub, we offer 360-degree interventions that include mentoring, seed funding and other incubation needs of start-ups in Rajasthan. So far, we have supported 156 entrepreneurs and early-stage startups, which include women entrepreneurs, social enterprises, student startups and early-stage tech entrepreneurs.

Arts & Culture
Bajaj Electricals Foundation has collaborated with Prafulla Dahanukar Arts Foundation over 5 years through which we have implemented art related projects across our PAN India locations. The projects are aimed at supporting emerging artists, children & teachers and senior citizens through the Kalanand, Balanand and Sadanand program.

Women Empowerment
Bajaj Electricals Ltd. encourages Rural Women Entrepreneurship through the Jankidevi Bajaj Puraskar and supports them in their initiatives and livelihood opportunities. We have recognised Smt. Rajiben Vankar who is an artisan-entrepreneur who weaves plastic waste into bags and accessories. Her initiative has blossomed into a thriving community endeavour, providing opportunities for approximately 75 women artisans from 18 villages of Bhuj. The majority of whom hail from underprivileged backgrounds. Her journey exemplifies the power of upcycling and demonstrates the potential for economic empowerment through sustainable practices.

Employee Volunteering
Our Employee Volunteering Program is at the heart of our commitment towards community engagement and sustainability efforts. For over a decade, it has empowered employees to support the communities we serve. It fosters collaboration, employee well-being, and corporate social responsibility, reinforcing our vision of a better, more sustainable future. Our employees participate in tree plantation drives, responsible e-waste management, and awareness campaigns that promote sustainable living, encouraging greener practices in both work and personal lives. We also encourage our teams to embrace eco-friendly habits and reduce plastic waste. Unique to our program, employees who lead impactful projects, introduce innovative volunteering ideas, or contribute significant hours are recognized through our Rewards & Recognition system, fostering a culture of purpose-driven engagement. In the past three years, are proud to have contributed 591,470 volunteer hours to initiatives that uplift our communities and drive meaningful change. Together, we are shaping a future where corporate social responsibility and sustainability are integral to our Corporate’s Vision.

EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES THROUGH SOLAR ELECTRIFICATION
In alignment with our focus to prioritize initiatives that positively impact the planet and uplift communities, Bajaj Electricals Ltd. is inclined towards providing clean energy-based solutions to communities to enable sustainable rural development in identified regions.Through our ‘Empowering Himalayan Communities Program’, we implemented a holistic development model for rural un-electrified communities, by setting up solar microgrids to provide clean energy access. This project was implemented across 15 households in Pans village, located in Lamayuru region of Ladakh. Through this, we eliminated 1,800 tons of carbon from the environment. We also provided access to ‘Digital Education’ to Bharti Vidya Niketan School in Abran village, Zanskar, benefiting 65 students from the community. Our primary objective was to implement the solution in a sustainable, scalable and environmentally beneficial manner, leading to an overall development of the community whilst empowering the local village population.
GREEN INDIA CAMPAIGN
Through the ‘Green India’ campaign, our aim is to create a significant impact in both environmental conservation and supporting local communities by increasing green cover in the locations we are present. Tree plantation has always been an integral part of our environmental initiatives which are rolled out either through partnerships with NGOs or our Employee Volunteering Program. We engage our employees in impactful tree planting initiatives that foster teamwork, environmental awareness, and corporate responsibility. We have planted 1 lakh+ trees over the last three years across initiatives such as urban forestation, plantation of fruit bearing trees to help local farmers increase their source of income, etc. Through our projects under tree plantation, we strive to create an impact on carbon sequestration, restoring forests, upgrading water catchment areas and providing a source of livelihood to local communities.

CSR Best Project Award Quality Assurance team
The CSR Best Project Award was presented to our Quality Assurance team, led by Mr. Subhash Shukla, along with the CSR Champion Mr. Kiran Thakur, for their impactful employee volunteering project under Shiksha Vikas. Through this project, the team provided infrastructure support, conducted awareness sessions and donated sports & educational items to 14 schools in the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, Haryana, Uttarakhand, and Kolkata, benefiting over 4,000 students
